When will my order ship?
Time for me to prepare, pack and post your order is currently 1-2 weeks. After I post, shipping will take additional days and you should see how many in check out. If you need something urgently please use the contact page or leave a note in checkout and I can see what I can do. Express and standard tracked shipping are available at checkout.
Standard domestic tracked: $8.50 (free on orders over $100)

Do you ship internationally?
Yes of course! I've set up the website to ship to Australia, NZ, the UK and the USA but if there are any issues or your country is not listed, please send me a message!
Do you offer refunds?
If your purchase arrives damaged or there is a problem please email photos, your order number and a description to bloombyalyssum@outlook.com within 48 hours of receiving your purchase. Refunds will be given only for faulty or damaged items within the 48 hour time limit, not for change of mind. We are not able to refund worn items. If there is a reasonable problem outside of the 48 hours, please email and store credit may be given.
Our earrings are made to be longlasting and sturdy however if any issue occurs after time please get in contact and I may be able to arrange a fix or replacement for you at a cost.
Are your earrings hypoallergenic?
Most of my earring posts are surgical stainless steel and will say in the item description if it is not. There is currently debate around the use of the word 'hypoallergenic' because everyone is unique and what may be hypoallergenic for one person may not be for the next person. I have horrendously sensitive skin and have not had an issue but if you do have an issue with them please get in touch. All earrings are nickel free.
Can I customise my earrings?
If you want to change the metal colour (e.g. gold to silver) or make the earrings clip ons, you can leave me a note on the cart page and I can get that sorted for you! For more complicated changes like to the shape or colour of the earring (e.g. change the hook to a hoop or stud, change the main colour, change the paint colour) please email hello@bloombyalyssum.com or dm me on Instagram before placing your order. Any major customisations will come with emailed photos of the changes before shipment so you can check it is what you envisioned!
How do you care for our beautiful planet?
Sustainability and minimising waste are hugely important to me. My little business isn't perfect, I feel like someone needs to invent a polymer clay that doesn't come in plastic! Here are some of the ways I reduce my impact:
- recycling as much as possible, including soft-plastics and compostables
- packaging your order in completely recyclable materials and some items are made from recycled materials
- choosing to order supplies from australian small businesses who pay their workers and send supplies in recyclable materials
- saving, reusing and repurposing scrap clay into new beautiful designs (some items on the website will tell you they are made from scraps in the description!)
My earring posts fell off! How can I fix this?
This is a common problem with polymer clay earrings and can occur from storing incorrectly or frequent use. Any superglue type product should do the trick!
I want these earrings but they are out of stock, when will they come back?
I'm frequently restocking your faves but some pieces disappear from rotation if I don't think anyone wants them! You can fill out the contact form on the website or dm me on instagram to let me know which ones you're after. Otherwise they might not come back...
